2012 - Washing
Day 54 and 105 to go
9am hello!
How nice it is to be in bed
and not be thinking about what we need to do today apart from washing.
I got out and had a shower
and then we sorted our washing out before wandering down stairs and putting the
washing on. We watched the Jubilee celebrations again while checking the net.
Paul then found the Isle of Man TT so we watched some of that.
Mary cooked us all a
wonderful breakfast that we devoured happily. I continued to vege on the couch
catching up with news from home.
After lunch we were taken to
visit Maisie, Chell’s Nan, where we chatted, had tea and biscuits and continued
to watch the Jubilee festivities including the fly over. Maisie has a lovely
garden and home.
We left her after the
celebrations concluded on the TV and then returned to Chell’s. Mary had to go
home as she is back to work tomorrow. After seeing her off we checked on our
washing, some was on the outside line and had spent most of the afternoon in
the rain.
We then drove over to see
Dario and Charlotte and the menagerie of animals. It was great to see them
again. We even met Liam, Charlotte’s boyfriend, who dropped in briefly to say
hi.
When Liam left we ordered Chinese
and Paul and Charlotte went to collect it. I was starving and so glad to eat
when it finally arrived. After eating we continued to sit around chatting
before we said goodbye and drove back to Chell’s.
We sat around watching the TV
for a bit before calling it a night.
